About Me
Hey there! I’m Duncan Regan, a game developer with a passion for creating. I recently graduated with a B.S. in Games from the University of Utah, where I honed my skills in everything from UX design and C# scripting to managing cross-functional teams in complex development projects. With a love for problem-solving and a drive to learn new skills, I'm excited to bring my abilities to a professional game design team.
I grew up in Pittsburgh PA, and moved to Utah to start college in 2019 due to a love of the mountains and an interest in the prestigious games program at the U. I spent years as a ski instructor and coach and learned the importance of leadership, patience, and resilience—qualities I now bring into my work. Whether leading a team on a project or organizing schedules and project timelines, I enjoy helping my peers and coworkers achieve their goals, overcome problems, and be the best creatives and engineers they can be.
Beyond my academic background, I have years of experience playing and running Dungeons & Dragons campaigns as a Dungeon Master, where I developed storytelling and world-building skills that are invaluable to my approach in game design. I’m proud to have shipped games like Ivorfall, where I took on production and UX design roles, as well as unfinished projects such as Spooky Match, where I was responsible for gameplay programming.
I’m ready to collaborate with a talented team to craft engaging games that players love. If you’re looking for a driven, adaptable developer with strong project management skills and a love for creating great experiences within my team and for players, I’d love to hear from you.
